另有為特優年輕博士設立「數學研究所研究學者」，此職位為期3+2年。
數學所也提供一般博士後職位，此職位為期2+1年。

Academia Sinica, located in Taipei, Taiwan, is the national academy and the leading research institution of Taiwan. The Institute of Mathematics of Academia Sinica is seeking outstanding mathematicians in all fields of mathematics for appointments beginning August or sooner, at the levels specified below. The Institute offers a flexible working environment and supports active engagement in international research. All positions are research oriented with no teaching duties. The institute especially encourages candidates from underrepresented groups to apply.
